Coffee & Chairs

Image

Coffee & Chairs is a project designed, developed, and published solely by me.

It is simply a place where people can browse, upload, and share beautiful cafes from all over the world.

I built it on the WordPress platform with a mountain of customisation. I used PHP, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

Trading Post Racing web and mobile

Image

A site where new content (articles and photos mainly) can be published from anywhere and displayed in different formats on different pages. Designed in photoshop and built on the WordPress platform. I first designed the header motif and the rest of the layout followed.

I also built a mobile site targeting smart phones that reads from the same database, but looks sexy on your mobile. I did all the coding, but didn’t design the mobile site myself, so I won’t show it here.

WordPress, JavaScript, PHP, HTML, CSS, facebook and twitter widgets. It’s all there.

Post Pirate

Image

When Facebook started releasing parts of its API, I wanted to take it for a spin. The result: an English to Pirate translator with one purpose. Enter your Facebook status, and it posts to your facebook wall in Pirate speak.

I wrote the translator in php and heavily modified the wordPress comments functionality to post straight to Facebook. Try it out here: www.postpirate.com

Casual Friday

Image

A magazine style website featuring weekly entries on betting, models, and beer. Built on the wordPress framework with a featured posts image slider, ad manager, and email subscription service. The owner no longer maintains the site.

Willow and Finn

Image

A little site for a little children’s clothing label. Features a javaScript sliding image gallery and full screen CSS background images. As fashion goes, the season past and the site is no longer live.

Snapt Photography

David is a friend of mine, and a bloody good photographer. He needed a portfolio site ‘tout de suite’ so I whipped this up faster than a zertek. The sliding images and gallery are powered with javaScript and the contact form uses a simple php mailing script. View it here: www.snapt.com.au
